Sterling SafeTech 8 mm Fire Escape Rope
DEUS selected the SafeTech 8 mm Rope from Sterling for use with the DEUS FB31 Firefighter Bailout & Rescue Kit because it has all the features that make it ideal for use by firefighters. It combines strength, fire-resistance and ease-of-use at a tremendous value.
This fire-, abrasion- and cut-resistant rope features a Technora sheath with a nylon core, providing good fire resistance (up to 932° F) and flexibility. It's designed to yield a firm hand to stay round over edges and works smoothly through gear. The round construction is easy to handle and locate with gloved hands.
Sterling SafeTech rope is designed for use as a fire-resistant escape and rescue rope in theDEUS 3000 Series controlled descent devices. This is the standard rope supplied with the DEUS 3100 controlled descent devices.
Available in tan with bright orange tracer. Single use when used to save a life.
