Self-rescue usually requires unweighting and transferring load. A step-aider – sometimes called an etrier – is the proven way to do it. The lightweight and compact DEUS Step-Up makes it easy.

The DEUS Step-Up is everything you’re looking for in a step-aider. It’s lightweight and ultra-compact – just 4 oz and packs down to a tiny pack that fits in your pocket. When you need it, it unpacks in seconds to a full 7 ft length with five stay-open steps. Plus the integrated Velcro loop makes it easy to attach to a harness.

Use the DEUS Step-Up in these rescue situations:
    • To transfer load from a fall-protection lanyard to a DEUS controlled descent system to self-rescue after a fall
    • To unweight a harness and prevent suspension trauma after a fall
